N.B. De Wellington van de 6 Britse RAF piloten was opgestegen vanaf de luchtmachtbasis bij Stradishall, in het graafschap Suffolk, waar zij gelegerd waren. Boven Halle zijn zij op 30 augustus 1940 neergehaald door de vijand.
